PVC trunk twists x 25

GET READY

1:00 each side couch stretch at the wall

1:00 downward dog

PRACTICE

MOVEMENT PRACTICE

Movement Skill review or discussion: Waiting in the Outfield, Strong Tree, Knee over Ankle

Jumping and landing position practice – land with knee over ankle, muscles on, feet pointed straight

– Practice to a chalk line

– Practice onto a 25# plate

– Practice onto a box

PLAY

WORK-PLAY

8:00-10:00

Run 50 meters

Deadlift x 3 (dodgeball-15# dumbbell or kettlebell)

Broad jump x 10

Push-up x 5

GAME

Stinky Feets – Scatter 2 socks per child around large circular play area. Place central bucket for socks to be deposited into. Direct kids to start in a large circle outside the socks and to grab socks one at a time with one foot and hop on the other foot to drop in the bucket upon “go” signal from coach. Cue kids to grab socks using toes and ball of foot—scooping onto instep is not allowed.
